BU women look for 'forty minutes of good basketball' at Bryant University

Posted: Updated:

VESTAL (WBNG) - The Binghamton women's basketball team plays at Bryant University on Thursday night. After winning three of its first four games, the Bearcats have fallen back to .500 after back-to-back losses last week. Bryant University could be the cure for what ails the Bearcats, the Bulldogs have won only one game this season.

BU is led by 12 Sports' reigning athlete of the week, Imani Watkins, who leads the America East in scoring and senior Alyssa James, the leading shot-blocker in the conference.

Sophomore guard Kai Moon says the Bearcats need to play a complete game on Thursday to get back in the win column.

"We gotta string together forty minutes of good basketball," said Binghamton sophomore guard Kai Moon. "We've proven that we are capable of coming back when we're down, but if we come out early the way that we are suppose to, and put them away, I don't see why we can't actually close out the rest of our non-conference schedule undefeated."

Game starts at 7 p.m. Thursday night.
