BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Devils will be without defenseman Yaroslav Dyblenko Friday night in Utica and Saturday evening against Belleville. Brandon Gignac suffered a season-ending knee injury.
The 23-year-old Russian was suspended two games by the AHL on Monday after committing two, ten-minute major unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in Belleville on Wednesday night. The second infraction led to a game misconduct.
There were 148 combined penalty minutes in Wednesday's shootout loss, and 20 of those minutes were courtesy of Dyblenko.
And more bad news for the B-Devils, as the team announced Monday that forward Brandon Gignac's (pictured left) season is officially over after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee on a hip check during the second period of Wednesday night's game in Belleville.
