BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Binghamton Devils forward Bracken Kearns has been selected as one of the playing captains for the AHL All-Star Classic set for January 28-29 in Utica, the AHL announced on Tuesday. It will be Kearns' second career AHL All-Star appearance.
The 36-year old forward leads the B-Devils in assists with 15 and is second in points in his first season with the Devils organization. Kearns is in his 13th professional season and has played 35 regular season and seven playoffs in the NHL. His last All-Star selection came in 2012-13 with the Worcester Sharks.
Ontario Reign's Brett Sutter was also selected as a captain for the All-Star Classic.
