CONKLIN (WBNG) -- Senior guard Trinasia Kennedy scored a game-high 17 points to lead No. 2 Susquehanna Valley (6-0) to a 67-51 victory over No. 6 Seton Catholic (3-1) on Thursday night at Susquehanna Valley High School.

"This one feels really good," said SV senior Trinasia Kennedy. "We've been waiting for this payback for a very long time after losing to them three times in a row last year when we shouldn't have. It was very important that we came back and really gave them all we got and showed them that this is our time this time."

"For our senior year, it's really nice to start off with a win," added fellow SV senior Holly Manchester. "They're a great team, so it was a really good win for us, and we just hope to keep going forward."

"Obviously, this one was on the calendar marked from the beginning of the season," said SV head coach Chad Freije. "Both teams played really hard, and the atmosphere was great. It feels really good to get that first one out of the way."
