Blood donations dip during the holiday season, but the need for blood does not. Donors are needed always, especially during the holiday time.
There are a few events happening ahead of the New Year's Resolution Blood Drive include, the Johnson City Battle of the Badges on Tuesday, December 26 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Sarah Jane Church and the Endicott Battle of the Badges the same day from 12 to 6 p.m. at ARC Endicott. On Wednesday, December 27 from 12 to 6 p.m. will be a blood drive in memory of New York State Trooper Christopher Skinner at the 5-mile point Fire Department in Kirkwood and the State Office Building on the 18th floor.

The 12th Annual New Year's Resolution Blood Drive will be happening at the Oakdale Mall for 5 days. It will be happening from December 29 to January 2 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Oakdale Mall. On December 31, people can donate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
