BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The year is coming to an end and that means 2018 is right around the corner.
Local organizers are getting ready for the annual Greater Binghamton Ball Drop downtown.
Since 2015, Social on State has held its New Year's Eve party in the streets.
With heated tents to stay warm, DJ's playing music, and fireworks, the event aims to bring together people of all ages.
"It's a, you know, over 21 event, but last year and previous years we've seen people in their middle 50s, 60s and even 70s come out and they've had an incredible time," said Social on State co-owner Mark Yonaty. "It's a great event."
