Binghamton routs D-III Elmira College with program-record 113 points

VESTAL (WBNG) - The Binghamton men's basketball team welcomed Division-III Elmira College to the Events Center on Saturday for the Bearcats final non-conference game before America East play begins. Binghamton blew Elmira College out from the start, jumping out to a 15-2 lead, before cruising to victory with a Division-I program record 113 points. All 12 healthy Bearcats played and scored in the game, led by senior Willie Rodriguez with 19 points. Thomas Bruce missed his second-straight game with a sprained ankle. 

The Bearcats set D-I program records for points (113), field goals (43) and shooting percentage (66.2%) in the victory. 

Final Score: Binghamton - 113, Elmira College - 65

Binghamton (9-6) opens America East play Saturday, January 6 at home against Maine.
