Section IV hoops roundup - Seton Catholic, Binghamton & Johnson City claim holiday tournament crowns

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Four local high school basketball teams competed for holiday tournament titles on Saturday. In the Josh Palmer Holiday Tournament, the Seton Catholic girl's basketball team met Elmira in a rematch from last year's epic final and the Johnson City boy's basketball team battled Elmira-Notre Dame in its final. In the Fighting Breast Cancer Holiday Classic at Davis College, the Binghamton girl's basketball team met Summit Academy for its bracket's championship and Union-Endicott faced Hudson Catholic for its bracket's title.

(Girl's) #11 Seton Catholic - 55, #6 Elmira - 47

Hanna Strawn led Seton Catholic with 23 points. 

(Boy's) Johnson City - 62, Elmira-Notre Dame - 60

Keith Harris hit the game-winning shot for Johnson City with three seconds left.

Fighting Breast Cancer Holiday Classic

(Girl's) #15 Binghamton - 64, Summit Academy (NYC) - 62

Annie Ramil led all scorers with 26 points. Summit Academy walked off the court with 32 seconds left, stating unfair officiating. Five Summit Academy players fouled out. 

(Girl's) Hudson Catholic (N.J.) - 61, Union-Endicott - 46

Senior Cailey Haynes led U-E with 18 points.
