People share their New Year's resolutions for 2018

VESTAL (WBNG) -- As many get ready for 2018, 12 News asked people in the Southern Tier what their New Year's resolutions are.

Some people say they want to exercise, be healthier and spend more time with family.

One man says he wants to push himself to stay active. 

"Well I think my main New Year's resolution is going to be to get a sub three hour half marathon," Nicholas Glassman, of Endicott, said. 

David Mayes is in the area visiting from California, running something he also wants to continue to do. 

"I want to keep running," Mayes, said. "I want to keep doing my triathlons and just you know commitment to fitness 2018!"

Many from the area are excited to take on the new year.
