BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Pastor Andrew Rosenbarker of Two Rivers Church in Binghamton organized 'Classic Night #23 New Year's Eve Party' for people celebrating New Year's Eve Sunday.

Brand New Addiction Recovery sponsored the event, which was held at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton.

It's all to help to wrap up the holiday season and celebrate the new year without any drugs or alcohol.

The Pastor says the event is meant to help people in recovery and those battling addiction.

"I love being able to put on a safe place where people can enjoy recovery,"  Rosenbarker explained. "Can enjoy a legitimate party for New Year's without getting drunk or high."

The event was free and open to the public for those who wanted to celebrate the start of the new year together.
