COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WBNG/WKTV) -- A man charged with second-degree murder and assault in Otsego County will not stand trial.
A judge ruled Perry Webb, 59, of New Lisbon, is mentally incompetent to stand trial after a mental health evaluation.
Webb is accused of killing 63-year-old Arthur Bellinger by stomping on him at Webb's home on Wheat Road in New Lisbon in June 2017.
Another man was injured in the ordeal, according to authorities.
The Otsego County District Attorney says Webb will likely spend the rest of his life in a psychiatric center.
