CONKLIN (WBNG) -- Senior guard Trinasia Kennedy scored a game-high 21 points to lead No. 2 Susquehanna Valley (9-0) to a 64-39 victory over No. 6 Seton Catholic (7-2) on Thursday night at Seton Catholic Central.

"Winning it one time was basically nothing because we knew how great Seton actually was and how they can come back and beat us for the second time," said SV senior Trinasia Kennedy. "But to be able to win this one? This really is an important one for us."

"Last year we won one and we lost all three, so we really wanted to come back and show that we're not going to do that again, and we just came in as a team and were prepared, and we really put our hearts into this game" SV senior Alexis Drake added.

"I think our kids kind of feel like they can play with anybody, and even overcome foul trouble or poor stretches of play and still stay together and come out with a victory," SV head coach Chad Freije said.
