BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Rochester Americans scored four goals in the third period to beat the Binghamton Devils, 5-2, Friday night. Rochester scored the lone goal of the first period to take the lead. Nick Lappin evened the scored for the B-Devils in the second with his 14th goal of the season. Then, the wheels fell off as Binghamton surrendered four goals in the third period. Kevin Rooney scored the other goal for the B-Devils. It was his seventh of the season. Binghamton has now lost three straight games.
Ken Appleby started in net for Binghamton. He allowed five goals on 32 shots faced.
