Albany holds Binghamton to 46 points as Bearcats fall on road

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Albany held Binghamton to 46 points Monday afternoon in Albany as the Great Danes raced past the Bearcats, 63-46. Only five Binghamton players scored in the contest, led by Imani Watkins with a game-high 18. Kai Moon was the only other Bearcat in double figures with 14 points. 

Albany held Binghamton to 30-percent shooting from the field and 27-percent shooting from three. 

Final Score: Albany (15-3, 4-1) - 63, Binghamton (11-6, 2-2) - 46

Binghamton returns home Thursday night to take on Stony Brook at 7 p.m. 

Alyssa James ties America East career block record

In the game Binghamton senior center Alyssa James recorded two blocks to tie the America East record for career blocks with 231. Maine's Jamie Cassidy set the mark in 2000. James is now five blocks away from tying the BU program record (236), set by current associate head coach Leah Bowers.
