Syracuse beats rival Pitt, snaps four-game losing streak

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Frank Howard led the Syracuse Orange past Pittsburgh on Tuesday night inside the Carrier Dome, 59-45. Howard scored a team-high 18 points, recorded seven rebounds, while adding five steals and four assists. Syracuse led by five at the break and expanded its lead to 14 by the end of regulation. Tyus Battle added 15 points in the victory. 

Final score: Syracuse (13-6, 2-4) - 59, Pittsburgh (8-11, 0-6) - 45

Syracuse is back in action next Wednesday, January 24 at home against Boston College.
