Catholic Schools of Broome County observe Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week 2018 begins on Sunday, January 28. The week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Schools typically observe the week with many different activities. In our area, the Catholic Schools of Broome County are holding many different events for the community to enjoy and learn more about the schools.

The CSBC is a linked system of four schools including three elementary schools that are pre-k through 6 and one junior/senior high for grades 7 to 12. The schools feature strong academics in a faith-based environment, is open to all faiths, races and ethnicities, classes are small and tuition assistance is available. 

Catholic Schools week will end on February 3. A list of CSBC events during the week is below: 

  • Catholic Schools of Broome County Musical Group Performances - Sunday, January 28 at 1 p.m. in center court of the Oakdale Mall. 
  • City Hall Flag Raising - Monday, January at Binghamton City Hall beginning at 10 a.m.
  • Open House Tours - January 29 to February 2 - All four schools in the Catholic School of Broome County will be open for walk in tours from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
    • St. John School - 9 Livingston St., Binghamton
    • Saint James School - 143 Main St., Johnson City
    • All Saints School - 1112 Broad St., Endicott
    • Seton Catholic Central - 70 Seminary Ave., Binghamton
  • Catholic Schools Mass - Wednesday, January 31 at 10 a.m. at Seton Catholic Central
  • Catholic Schools Week Concert and Open House - Friday, February 2 - Jared Campbell will perform at 7 p.m. at Seton Catholic Central.
