Library hosts job fair for future drug treatment center

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- A Job fair was held at the Jeffrey P. Kraham Broome County Library on Thursday.

Syracuse Behavioral Health, an inpatient rehabilitation program, is looking to fill about 50 positions including nurses and counselors along with administrative and maintenance positions.

The company is hiring for the drug treatment facility in Dickinson that was approved last year after much debate.

"In health care there is such a growing need for a variety of jobs whether it's and RN or a medical office assistant or anything there's just a variety of opportunities that we want to share with the community," said Contract Specialist Rebecca Harris.
