Love is in the air for Courtship Tails at the Binghamton Zoo

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Binghamton Zoo by reserving a spot for you and a loved one at Courtship Tails event.

These adult-only tours highlight exotic and quirky mating rituals of animals all around the world. A few interesting fact guests will learn are things such as, which bird attracts a mate by building an elaborate multicolored bachelor pad or which underwater creature sings to seduce a partner?

Tours will be held on February 10 and 11, at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and includes a guided tour, dessert foods, drinks, a commemorative photo to take home, and a $25 gift certificate to CopperTop Tavern.

Something new and exciting this year is that guests will go behind the scenes to visit the spotted-necked otters and African penguins on each tour.

Reservations are required. Tickets are $125 for non-member couples and $110 for member couples. Guests must be 21 years or older. Limited walking will be required, and guests should dress warm. Tours will start at the Binghamton Zoo Education Center near the main entrance.
