BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Students at Horace Mann Elementary in Binghamton learned how to eat healthy in an exciting way on Tuesday.
Cornell Cooperative Extension put on a program for the kids called 'Nutrition Day', which shows students that healthy food can taste great.
Among the various activities, students taste-tested vegetables and made smoothies in a blender powered by pedaling a bike.
"If we can get them eating healthier, it will make their lifestyle so much better and it'll make Binghamton a better place to live," explained Cornell Cooperative Extension Nutrition Educator Ann Supa.
Five different stations were set up in the school's gym for kids to try out.
