BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Binghamton senior Imani Watkins became the second player in program history to reach the 2,000 career point milestone Thursday night on the road at UMBC. The Bearcats went on to win the game, 68-53. The victory gave Binghamton the season sweep against the Retrievers. Watkins is now 19 points away from breaking Binghamton's program record for most points in a career.
BU exploded in the second half, turning a two-point halftime lead into a 15-point victory. Kai Moon finished with a team-high 17 points. Watkins finished with 11 and Alyssa James added another double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.
With the road win, Binghamton sets a new program record with its 10th road win of the season.

Binghamton is now off until Wednesday when the team hosts Vermont at home.
