BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Excitement echoed off the court when the Harlem Globetrotters visited the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena Thursday night.
Parents with their kids enjoyed family fun entertainment with their favorite players. While the arena wasn't packed, the crowd had a good time.
Even WBNG's Junior Harlem Globetrotter, Landon Hanna, was there to cheer on the team. He said he loves the tricks and is still honored to be recognized as a Junior Globetrotter.
The team performed their fun tricks of spinning the basketball around their shoulders and slam dunking the ball in the net.
"I'm really excited just for everything," said Jadyn Ward from Endwell. "I can't explain how excited I am.
Ward and her friend Ammia Amatogreene from Endwell both enjoyed their very first Harlem Globetrotters game. The two young girls play on their school's basketball team and dream of a future on the court.
"In the future I do plan to be in this or the NBA so basketball has gotten me closer to that, but it will be a while," said Ward.
"I want to get a scholarship to UCONN and I want to be in the WNBA," said Amatogreene.
The two girls said they were inspired by the team and hope to be as good as they are one day.
