BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Nearly 100 people took part in the Cupid Chase 5K in the downtown area.

The rainy weather didn't stop people from taking part in the event.

It was held by Community Options, a local nonprofit organization.

Its mission is to help people with disabilities.

"I get to see first hand where all the donations go and where all the love goes," explained Leif Silvers, with Community Options. "It's great to see all the love every year. It's really wonderful."

Thousands of dollars have been raised so far for the nonprofit.
