VESTAL (WBNG) -- Binghamton claimed six straight victories, from 141 pounds to 184 pounds, en route to a 21-12 win over Bloomsburg in the Bearcats' home finale Sunday at the West Gym.
"Our middleweights have been the heart of the team pretty much all season," said Binghamton head coach Kyle Borshoff. "We like to win every match, but we've been able to count on our middleweight guys almost every single time we've step on the mat. We're winning those weights from 141 to 184 almost without fail. So those guys are anchoring the team down right now, and that's a really important thing for us."
"It's nice to have a big home crowd when we do, so the fans and my friends that I've made here, my team and my coaching staff, I really wouldn't want it to be any different at this point," 184-pound senior Steve Schneider said when asked about winning his home dual meet finale.
