(WBNG) -- A Port Crane man arrested in a January drug bust has been formally indicted on possession charges.

On Friday, a Broome County Grand Jury indicted Brett Poyer on the following charges:

  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony
  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony
  • Criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor (three counts)

A search warrant was executed in January at a home on Rogers Road in Port Crane.

The indictment alleges Poyer was in possession of more than two pounds of “preparations, compounds, mixtures or substances” containing meth.

Investigators who took part in the warrant execution on January 23 say meth, packaging materials and paraphernalia common with drug distribution were found.

Jodi Bickos, 30, of Port Crane was also arrested as part of the search.
