THEY SAID IT...

"I think the players and the coaches all knew that if we were going to have a chance to get into our conference tournament, we were going to have to get this done tonight on our home court," said Binghamton head coach Tommy Dempsey. "We got it done and now we're in the fight, and we have the team that's right ahead of us in our next game."

"It was no relief because we know how good we are, we just have to go out there and get it done, so we're not surprised by this, we just have to keep it going," Binghamton sophomore guard Fard Muhammad added.

"It's been a grind, but we keep believing," said Binghamton junior guard Everson Davis. "Yesterday we had a great practice. It was energetic. Guys were competing. And it carried over to today, so it's great to see that what we do is finally turning into some wins. Now we have to go get one on Sunday, and we'll be back in this thing."
