Kowalsky on Comets: 'They really come at you'

Posted: Updated:

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Devils are on the road at Utica Friday night. The Comets are currently fighting for playoff positioning, sitting in third place in the AHL north division. The B-Devils won the first meeting of the season between the two teams, but Utica has won three-straight against Binghamton since. B-Devils head coach Rick Kowalsky says his team needs to be ready for a physical game against the Comets.

"They're nothing special and that's not to discredit them," said Binghamton Devils head coach Rick Kowalsky. "They just work hard and they really come at you. They make you work for everything you're going to get. It should be a good example of how we need to be or what we need to be. If you're not ready to compete and play hard, you're going to have your hands full."

Puck drops in Utica at 7 p.m.
