Binghamton drops crucial conference game at UMass Lowell

LOWELL, MA (WBNG) -- Junior guard J.C. Show scored a team-high 15 points, but the Bearcats fell to the River Hawks, 74-69, Sunday afternoon at Costello Athletic Center.

Binghamton (11-17, 2-11 AE) mounted a feisty comeback, rallying from a 12-point deficit with 1:40 left to play before eventually falling to UMass Lowell (10-16, 4-9 AE).

Show scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half. 

The Bearcats trailed 30-27 at halftime.

Junior center Thomas Bruce tallied 11 points and 13 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season.

Next up, Binghamton travels to Vermont Wednesday, February 21 for a 7 p.m. tip against the Catamounts.
