Girl Scout Cookie season is here. The famous Girl Scout Cookies officially went on sale January 12 and the season will run through March 25. Booth sales in local communities begin March 3 and end March 25.

The Girl Scouts are celebrating 101 years of selling cookies. Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Savannah Smiles, S'mores and Toffee-Tastic (gluten free). GS S’mores is back for a second season after an extremely successful debut in 2017.

Cookie earnings stay 100% local. The local Council uses cookie proceeds to develop programming for girls, and girls/troops decide how to use their earnings to power amazing experiences like community service projects, travel, GS Summer Camp, personal enrichment opportunities, etc. In the Girl Scouts, girls learn skills they take with them throughout their lives such as goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.

You can order cookies through the GS in your life or look for cookie booths in your area by entering your zip code online or using the official GS Cookie Finder app free on Apple and Android devices.

Can’t eat ‘em? Treat ‘em! Donate packages of cookies through the Council Gift of Caring Program. Each year the GS partner with a community organization. This year, cookies will be gifted to the Military Family Assistance Center, based in Syracuse and serving a number of counties, including Broome County. Cookies will be shared with local veteran groups, military families and service members regardless of branch or duty status.
