Three-run second lifts Bearcats to victory

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WBNG) -- The Binghamton baseball team scored three runs in the top of the second inning en route to a 4-2 win over Liberty University Friday afternoon in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Justin Drpich hit Binghamton's first home run of the season, a solo blast in the second inning.

Shane Marshall recorded three hits and scored twice in the victory. 

Jake Miller threw 3 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up his first win of the season.

The three-game weekend series continues Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
