LYNCHBURG, VA (WBNG) -- Union-Endicott alum CJ Krowiak smashed a solo home run for the second consecutive day, but the Bearcats fell to Liberty University, 3-2, Sunday afternoon in Lynchburg.

Nick Wegmann (1-1) suffered his first loss of the season after giving up three earned runs on four hits, walking four and striking out four in four innings of work.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

WEST HARTFORD, CT (WBNG) -- Hartford ended the second half on a 15-0 run to beat visiting Binghamton, 61-45, Sunday afternoon at Chase Family Arena.

Imani Watkins scored a team-high 14 points in the loss.

The Bearcats finish the regular season tied with Stony Brook for third place in the America East standings.
