Binghamton finishes 2017-18 with fewest conference wins since Dempsey's first season

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton men's basketball season came to a disappointing finish Tuesday night at Albany, suffering a 17-point loss at the hands of the Great Danes, 71-54. The Bearcats managed just two wins in America East play this season, the fewest since Binghamton won one in Tommy Dempsey's first season as head coach in 2012-13.

Willie Rodriguez finished his Bearcat career with a team-high 16 points.

Binghamton lost its final four games of the season. 

Final score: Albany (22-9, 10-6) - 71, Binghamton (11-20, 2-14) - 54
