B-Devils beat down Senators in Belleville

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Devils picked up its fifth victory in its past six games on Tuesday night in Belleville, 4-1. Nick Lappin put the B-Devils on top in the first period with his 19th goal of the season. After the Senators tied the game in the second, Christoph Bertschy continued his stellar play for Binghamton, taking the lead back before the third. 

In the third period, Michael Kapla and Blake Pietila each found the back of the net, sealing the victory for Binghamton. 

Cory Schneider, starting on a conditioning loan for the B-Devils, stopped 19-of-20 shots he faced. 

Final score: Binghamton (18-28-6-3) - 4, Belleville (21-33-1-3) - 1

B-Devils are back on the road Friday night at Syracuse. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
