BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - It was a busy weekend for the Binghamton Devils. The B-Devils lost back-to-back games Friday and Saturday before goalie Eddie Lack returned to the lineup Sunday and helped Binghamton beat Utica.
Lack stopped 24 of 26 shots he faced against the Comets, which proved to be plenty as the B-Devils poured in seven goals. Lack was up with New Jersey until last week. His last taste of game action came on February 22 with the big league club, so after the game Sunday, Lack was just happy to start finding his rhythm in goal again.
"I didn't really feel great to be honest," said Binghamton goalie Eddie Lack. "It was just one of those games where you have to battle. I haven't had that much practice lately or anything. I came down yesterday and (it was) just nice getting one out of the way. Just getting a win and looking forward to next weekend."
Binghamton is back on the ice Friday night at home against the Penguins. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
