BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Binghamton senior Keishorea Armstong has been named the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Northeast Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. Armstrong is the first female athlete in Binghamton program history to win a major regional award.
Armstrong recently qualified for the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in the long jump. The Chatman, New York native qualified with the 15th best long jump in the nation this season. The women's long jump at the NCAA Championships is set for Friday at 8:15 p.m. at Texas A&M.
