BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WBNG) -- Pennsylvania State Police responded to two separate fatal crashes on Wednesday in Bradford County.
Troopers said the first happened on Orwell Hill Road in Orwell Township around 8:35 a.m.
A vehicle carrying two teens and a child was traveling on Orwell Hill Road when the driver failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, crossing into opposing traffic and striking another vehicle, according to police.
Troopers say the person driving the vehicle, a 17-year-old girl, was transported to Robert Packer Hospital by ambulance for her injuries.
The front seat passenger, a 15-year-old girl, died from her injuries, troopers said. An 11-year-old boy in the back seat was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital, according to authorities.
State police say Ray Sechrist, 59, from Rome, Pennsylvania was taken to Robert Packer Hospital. Everyone involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts, troopers say.
A few hours later, Pennsylvania State Police say they responded to another deadly crash on Milan Road in Smithfield Township.
Around 2:30 p.m., troopers said Thomas William Cook, 21, of Sayre, Pennsylvania, was traveling east on Milan Road when he lost control, exited the roadway and hitting a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
