BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins scored the first two goals of the game and final goal in overtime to beat the Binghamton Devils Friday night at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The Penguins scored the first goal shorthanded, and deflected the second goal in off of goalie Eddie Lack. Jacob MacDonald put the B-Devils on the board as time expired in the first period. Michael Latta tied the game at two in the second period, but the Penguins scored the final goal in overtime to win.
Final score: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (34-17-4-2) - 3, Binghamton (19-30-7-3) - 2 (OT)
Binghamton is back at home Saturday night against Hershey at 7:05 p.m.
