KIRKWOOD (WBNG) -- Two Pennsylvania men face weapon possession charges following a traffic stop in the town of Kirkwood.

State police say Kody Kemp, 22, of Friendsville and Scott Maxey, 30, of Montrose were pulled over Saturday afternoon on Colesville Road for traveling at a high speed.

Troopers say they located a loaded gun and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Both were charged with second-degree possession of a weapon, a felony, with Kemp also being charged with a misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance charge.

Maxey and Kemp were both sent to the Broome County Jail, with Kemp being held on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
