(WBNG) -- The third annual Southern Tier Math Conference was held in Chenango Valley High School Thursday night.
The conference hosted more than 175 registered teachers and collaborators with 25 presenters.
The event was curated by Broome-Tioga Boces and has been hosted in other schools for the past two years.
It's designed for teachers to come together, collaborate and learn from each other while being informed on what is going on within the region.
"It's just a great way to bring teachers out in a venue and collaborate learn new things and see the great stuff that's going on in or region because we have some of the best teachers in New York State here," said Paul Volkert, Regional Math Specialist for Broome-Tioga Boces.
The conference is always held in the second week of March before Superintendents Day.
