BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The sports world is still buzzing about Tim Tebow's debut as a Binghamton Rumble Pony. Tebow blasted a home run on the first pitch of his first at-bat in Binghamton, sending NYSEG Stadium into a frenzy. While the Southern Tier revels in Thursday night's moment, to Tebow it was just one at-bat.
"Gotta get back in the cage and work with coach Rojas and coach (Pascucci) and work on all of the things that I've been working on to try to improve," said Binghamton Rumble Ponies outfielder Tim Tebow. "It's not like anybody's arrived because we won 6-0. It was a great day and it was a fun day, but it was just one day and we have to be focused on the next day."
Binghamton's next game is Saturday at 3:05 p.m. after Friday's game was postponed.
