BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Tim Tebow's baseball career us really just getting started, but would the former football player trade in his bat and glove for a helmet and pads instead? It seems Tebow has an opportunity from another Florida Gator.
Steve Spurrier, a former head coach for the Gators, was announced as the head coach for the team in Orlando in the new Alliance of American Football set to debut in February of 2019.
Here's what Spurrier said on the Open Mike Radio Show with Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel when asked about Tebow making a return to football with him in Orlando:
"That would be wonderful. I think Tim knows about our league. He knows he's welcome to come down and play."
Seems like an open invitation to play football again. The only question, is Tebow interested?
