CORNING, N.Y. (WBNG) -- A man wanted for committing crimes in several states has been arrested in Steuben County, according to the Vestal Police Department.
Police say Donald Fike, 61, was taken into custody by around 10 p.m. Thursday by New York State Police in Corning and charged with the following:
Accoring to police, he was found driving a Nissan Xterra with a stolen Florida license plate and sent to the Steuben County Jail.
Fike is currently wanted in the state of Arizona as a parole violator and is also wanted in Oklahoma for theft of property.
He was also wanted for stealing a purse from a Sunoco in the town of Dickinson and smashing a vehicle window in the parking lot of Skylark Diner in Vestal.
Police say Fike is associated with addresses in Lakeland, Florida and Mesa Arizona and once lived in Binghamton.
Additional charges are expected to be filed by the Vestal Police, Broome County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police.
