Comeback bid falls short as Fisher Cats take down Ponies

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Patrick Mazeika singled home Tim Tebow in the ninth inning Wednesday night in New Hampshire, but the Rumble Ponies comeback bid ended there, falling to the Fisher Cats, 5-4. Peter Alonso recorded two RBI and a double in the loss for Binghamton. 

Tim Tebow finished the game 1-for-3 with a run scored, raising his batting average to .250. 

Joseph Shaw (0-2) took the loss for Binghamton, allowing three earned runs in five and two-thirds innings.

Final Score: New Hampshire (8-3) - 5, Binghamton (4-6) - 4

Binghamton and New Hampshire finishes its series Thursday at 10:35 a.m.
