Rumble Ponies lose for the seventh time in past eight games

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Binghamton's bats were unable to heat up on a cold afternoon in New Hampshire, falling to the Fisher Cats, 5-2. The Rumble Ponies have now lost seven of their past eight games. Binghamton managed just four hits as Jordan Romano threw seven innings of one-run baseball for New Hampshire. 

Tim Tebow's five-game hitting streak was snapped as the outfielder went 0-for-4 with a RBI. Matt Oberste collected a hit and a RBI in the loss. 

Final score: New Hampshire (9-3) - 5, Binghamton (4-7) - 2

The Rumble Ponies return to NYSEG Stadium Friday night to take on Erie. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
