Tebow: "I want to live a life where I don't look back and regret things I didn't try and pursue"

ERIE, PA (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Rumble Ponies open a three-game series in Erie against the SeaWolves Friday night at 6:05 p.m.

Tim Tebow spoke to the local Erie media Friday afternoon.

Through 15 games, Tebow is tied for 34th in the Eastern League with a .255 batting average. He's struck out 23 times, owns 13 hits, four doubles, one home run, eight runs batted in, and is still chasing that dream of his.

"[I'm] friends with a lot of the [Colorado] Rockies guys [when I played for the Denver Broncos] and I'd be like, '[Baseball] looks awesome.' So [playing baseball] was just something always in my heart, and I wanted to do it because I want to live a life where I don't look back and regret things I didn't try and pursue," said Tebow. "And I think, unfortunately, in today's society, there's a lot of people that don't pursue things cause they're afraid of what people are going to say or failure or what if you don't make it. And I just don't want to be one of those people."
