Tebow strikes out four times in Rumble Ponies explosive 13-1 win over Erie

ERIE, PA (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Rumble Ponies scored a season-high 13 runs and slugged a season-high 12 hits in a 13-1 win over the Erie SeaWolves Friday night at UPMC Park.

Tim Tebow went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts and a walk, dropping his batting average to .236.

Peter Alonso went 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBI, a walk, and his team-leading fifth home run of the season. His .397 BA leads the entire Eastern League.

Binghamton is now 6-0 when scoring first this season.

According to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, their 2-3-4 hitters (Jeff McNeil, Peter Alonso, Patrick Mazeika) combined to go 8-for-14 with 2 HR, 6 RBI, 6 runs, and 2 walks).
