We're still talking about the stationary front draped across the Mid Atlantic. This will be the focus for rain and thunderstorms today. We'll have two rounds of rain and thunderstorms. The first round occurred this morning, but our attention will be on the afternoon storms. Some could be strong to severe with heavy rain, damaging wind and hail. These storms will move from west to east between 2-6 PM. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight.
As this front stalls just to our south again, there will be a slight chance of showers on Wednesday. We could see this same front rebound on Thursday. This, along with a cold front moving in from the north will give us rain and thunderstorms.
