BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- Business owners from all over the community joined together with the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce to talk about the future of business.
It was a night of both fine dining and networking at the DoubleTree hotel in Binghamton for the dinner's 54th year.
The dinner is meant to go over the status of business and job growth in the Binghamton community. It also aims to target any improvements they can make in the future.
Business owners that packed the hotel's ballroom from door to door were able to get to know one another to create a better relationship.
"It just really reiterates the importance of us staying engaged, communicating what that impact would be on business community," said the CEO of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer Conway. "Ultimately that would mean our community, the people who are being employed, our non profits who get donations from businesses. So, we are all connected and intertwined together."
Awards were handed out as well, such as Entrepreneur of the Year, Small Business Person of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.
