Allen carries Ponies to victory in extras

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Josh Allen's go-ahead RBI double in the 11th inning, scoring Levi Michael, sent the Rumble Ponies to victory Sunday afternoon in Portland against the Sea Dogs, 4-3. Allen finished the game 2-for-3 with two RBI and two walks. Allen also hit a sacrifice fly in the 8th inning to give Binghamton the lead, before Portland tied the game in the bottom of the eighth. 

Kevin Taylor added three hits and a run scored in the victory. 

Marcos Molina started for Binghamton and went five innings, allowing one run. 

Tim Tebow did not start the game, but entered the game in the 10th inning to play left field. He did not have an at-bat. 

Final score: Binghamton (39-41) - 4, Portland (30-50) - 3

Binghamton and Portland continue its five game series Monday night in Portland. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
