Four-run fourth inning flies Ponies to victory on Fourth of July

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies scored four runs in the fourth inning Wednesday night at NYSEG Stadium against the Erie SeaWolves to take the lead, 6-3. Binghamton held on for the victory, 7-5.  John Mora started the scoring with a RBI double in the first inning. Erie scored the next three runs to take the lead before the Ponies stormed back in the fourth.

Levi Michael collected three hits, including a double, two runs scored, an RBI and a walk in the victory. 

Kevin Taylor added two hits, a run scored and two RBI. 

Tim Tebow finished the game 1-for-3 with a single, a walk, a run scored and a strikeout. 

Final Score: Binghamton (41-42) - 7, Erie (39-44) - 5

Binghamton and Erie continue its five-game series Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. First pitch at 6:35 p.m.
