BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies drew the third-largest crowd in franchise history Wednesday night on the Fourth of July at NYSEG Stadium against the Erie SeaWolves. 7,124 fans attended the Ponies victory and fireworks display.

It's about 300-less fans than the franchise record set back on July 17, 2008 when 7,412 fans attended Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez's rehab start for the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium.

Binghamton and Erie continue its five-game series at RumbleTown Thursday night at 6:35 p.m.
